21.4 Future tense II

We now had a look at the future tenses I. If there is a I then there is usually also a II. Here it comes. The future II expresses actions that will be terminated in the future. The use of future II is the same in Spanish as in English.

  Example

Cuando vengas a casa, yo habré comido ya.
= When you come home I will have eaten already.
Hasta las navidades del proximo año habrá aprobado todos sus examenes.
= Until Christmas next year, he will have passed all his exams.
